Leaf, HTC’s distributor in South Africa, has announced today that we’ll be seeing the HTC EVO 3D, a glasses-free 3D capable, rugged phone running the latest version of Sense experience in South Africa very soon.
We should probably have posted something like this article as our 100th post, but we didn’t. We’re way past that point now, it’s Friday, and we’re waiting for some solid news from a company or two, so you’re going to have sit with a mushy thank you post chock full of stats. We love stats.
Here’s one for the South African Samsung fans: Samsung Dive is now available in South Africa, and what it is, basically, is a remote device management solution by Samsung, and provides a smörgåsbord of features for those of us with a penchant for misplacing their phones.
The Motorola XOOM was the first device to sport Google’s brand-spanking new Android OS designed specifically for the tablet form factor: Honeycomb. We’ve managed to get our hands on one, and spend a few days with it before it lands on South Africa’s shores.
