About Us

We’re a bunch of Android enthusiasts that are very excited about Android on the African continent, in particular South Africa. We’re here to keep you informed, up to date, and hopefully teach you a few new things.

Albert Cornelissen
Editor & Writer
Albert has a day job he loves, but is also passionate about technology, and gadgetry in general.
He spent a boatload of money in one shot on his first Android phone, a HTC Hero, and hasn’t looked back.
In his free time he geocaches, hikes, and enjoys good food, and good wine.

Philip Cronje
Editor, Writer & System Administrator
Philip is a lean, mean, mobile application development machine by day, and an avid gamer and hobby coder by night. When he’s not doing any of these things, he’s probably busy hacking the Gibson or playing on his guitars. That, or trolling Internet forums for the lulz.

Sean Vockerodt
Writer & Designer
On any given Monday, you’ll find Sean mentally windmilling to Manowar while doing design like a guru of Adobe Creative Suite. Minimalism is his style, and he’s sticking to it.
Outside of the graphics grind, he games, he photographs, he surfs, and he breaks the sound barrier on his iron horse.

Contributors

Marion van Lille
Marion is an Android-noob, but that’s rapidly changing as she wields her Galaxy SII. During the day she works as an analyst in the mobile industry to fund her fine wine habit. To keep sane, she climbs mountains and cuddles fat cats.

Karl Fischer
Karl is a sysadmin by day, a fulltime dad and a fiddler of all things tech.
His first Android phone was the HTC Dream, and now he’s a Nexus man.
In his free time reads, loves delicious food and enjoys time with his family.
