This year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is in full swing, and it’s been difficult to keep up with the avalanche of new Android devices announced so far. Here’s a quick roundup of which devices we can probably expect to eventually land on our shores.
On Tuesday, NVIDIA officially announced the latest iteration of their mobile processor platform, Tegra 3 (previously known by the code name “Kal-El”), the predecessor of which has powered all of the Honeycomb tablets released since the Motorola XOOM. The new platform’s specifications are impressive, to say the least.
Last week, we attended the South African launch of the Motorola ATRIX and XOOM, devices that have been available abroad for quite a while.
After the launch events in Cape Town and Johannesburg, Samsung has announced that the new, retooled Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available from the 1 August 2011.
